Property monitoring with limited Google account access.

This site documents two private tools used to collect property-alert information and publish verified database snapshots. They are operated for personal use and are not offered to the public.

The tools

Each tool has a separate Google Cloud project, OAuth client, and authorization token.

Hermes Personal Inbox

Reads authorized property-alert messages from Gmail so listing changes can be added to a private property-monitoring database.

Property Monitor Drive Sync

Publishes dated SQLite snapshots, a stable latest copy, and a checksum manifest to an application-specific Google Drive folder.

Operating principles

Request only the Google permissions each tool needs.
Keep Gmail and Drive credentials separate.
Do not sell Google user data or use it for advertising.
Allow the account owner to revoke access at any time.
